Separation of site services
The services supplying Eggborough 400kv Substation were fed from the adjacent Eggborough Power Station site which was to be decommissioned. National Grid had a requirement to install new service installations including a new low voltage electricity supply, potable water and firefighting water supplies and a new foul drainage connection. We were successfully awarded the project to undertake the civils construction works to deliver the separation of services contract.
We worked in close collaboration with National Grid and their partners throughout the project to ensure that the most economical and efficient solutions were adopted to provide a fully self-sufficient substation without disruption to the operational nature of the site. Another quality project delivered through our successful client relationship.
