Highly commended substation build
Due to the decommissioning of the adjacent Eggborough Power Station, Saint Gobain Glass had a requirement for a new dedicated incoming electrical supply. We were appointed to deliver the civils construction works to provide a new 66kv Northern Powergrid and customer substation within the confines of the existing Saint Gobain Glass manufacturing site.
We were highly commended by the end client for both the quality of the works and the delivery of the project without any disruption to the operations of the glass manufacturing plant. We’re delighted to have been awarded several other projects by Saint Gobain as a result of our performance.
