Our team ensure effective community relations by:

  • Maintaining secure, clean and tidy sites.
  • Providing safe systems of work that consider and care for members of the public
  • Our staff are well mannered and respect the local environment and the demographic of the community
  • Informing local residents and businesses of the planned works and updating them of progress.
  • Limiting vehicular movements, restricting site traffic access routes and undertaking deliveries at appropriate times to avoid congestion and disruption to the surrounding area
  • Minimise the impact of noise, air, light and vibration
  • Contributing to the local economy by procuring materials from local suppliers and providing employment opportunities to the local workforce
  • Supporting local community groups and organisations through charitable works
  • Protecting the local ecological system and wildlife habitats
  • Providing a proactive, approachable and sociable service to respond to community enquiries and issues

Memberships & Experience

We are active members of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association and work closely with the organisation to improve the image of the civil engineering industry including minimising the adverse impacts of civil engineering operations within the community. Best practise is shared between the members of the organisation and are implemented into our community relationship procedures for continual improvement.
